Database Driven Jasper Report (dbdjasperreport), is developed using Groovy on Grails and Jasper report. It‘s an on-demand web reporting application that could serve as a central report repository and gives an organization the ability to have multiple environment, provided you have a Development, Test and Production web server environment. dbdjasperreport is designed to integrate with any web application. It has a unique Report Module which provides flexible filter options for each parameter that‘s defined by you. Example of operator filter options are <, >, RTF file to your report, and gives you the ability to define searches for a parameter. Examples of searches that you can define are employee, vendor, or product searches. View a video demo of this web report application.

Currently, this application only works with MySql and Oracle database and has only been tested on MySql 5 and Oracle 10g XE (free version) using FireFox v2.0.0.16 with a minimum resolution of 1024×768. It is possible to run this application with earlier or later version of both database without any issue, although I will not guarantee it. You should be able to run it on a full Oracle database version as well.
